In the middle of nature, fresh sea air blows gently through your hair. The sense of community, a safe place. A place to feel, discover and experience yourself again. The feeling of connectedness. Freedom. Being creative. Dancing without being ashamed. That sounds good, doesn't it? Let's spend a week full of mindfulness and connection together in nature.

Location

We spend this special week at the Soul Farm Algarve on the southern coast of Portugal. The accommodation is just a few minutes away from Aljezur and Arrifana, as well as the (surf) beaches of Arrifana, Monte Clérigo and Amoreira. The south of Portugal is characterized by Mediterranean flair. Beautiful beaches with magical rock formations meet forests of cork oak, eucalyptus and olive trees. Enjoying and living mindfully with nature are of great importance to the people of Portugal.

The Soulfarm itself is a large, natural area with a farmhouse, stylish glamping tents and several small buildings. Feel the fascination for the starry sky around the campfire, yoga on the sun deck or dinner under lanterns. The concept is simple and yet far-reaching: Nature comes first! Everything that is on the soul farm has been integrated into nature. Man is seen as part of the big picture. Fruit and vegetables are self-cultivated. The community is in the foreground and yet there is always enough freedom for time for yourself.

Three vegan/vegetarian meals are prepared with fresh and regional food per day. It is particularly important to us to pass on the diversity and appreciation of food.

about Us

For Carina The holistic approach of yoga - i.e. the connection between body, mind and soul - is particularly important. Her yoga classes create space for self-exploration. She likes to expand the basis of Hatha Vinyasa Yoga with elements from other yoga styles (Jivamukti, Yin). She supports her yoga classes with music and instrumental sounds. The combination of movement, music and breathing will help you to perceive your inner being and bring it to rest.


Nadine's

Classes are characterized by her passion for varied, creative flows and correct alignment of the asanas. It is not only practiced dynamically, fluently and powerfully, but also calmly and meditatively.

Her classes focus on balancing breath and movement to focus the mind on the here and now.

Nadine would like to pass on to you the joy of life and strength as well as the feeling of lightness, contentment and inner peace that she herself experiences again and again through her yoga practice.

YOGA

Look forward to yoga classes for all levels, which are primarily based on Hatha Vinyasa Yoga. It is important to us to always include other styles and forms of movement. In the yoga classes we always offer different options and levels of difficulty, so that you are welcome both as a yoga newcomer and as an experienced yogi. We start the day mindfully and relaxed with a meditation or breathing exercise. There will be two yoga sessions per day. The morning session is characterized by dynamic processes. In the evening we end the day with gentle yoga styles (Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra). Our retreat gives you time to go deeper into the practice. Therefore we will also go into yogic knowledge, meditation and pranayama.

9:30 – 11:00                     Yoga class (All levels, Hatha Vinyasa style)

13:30 – 18:00                   Free time, workshops, yoga playground

18:00 – 19:00                  Yoga class (Yin, gentle, restorative)

From 7:30 p.m              Dinner

special workshops

We would like to use the time and give you the opportunity to take part in special workshops. The workshops are offered on individual days in your free time and are included in the price. It will be about mindfulness, nature, nutrition, holistic health and connection to yourself. Whether in the form of a creative yoga playground, a mindfulness workshop, a campfire ceremony or singing and dancing together, you can try it out here. True to the motto: Yoga begins on the mat, but certainly does not stop there!

Optional leisure activities

In the afternoon in your free time you can explore the area, get active or just relax and enjoy the day, just as YOU need it!


For example:

- Hiking (directly from the Soulfarm there are beautiful coastal hiking trails)

- Strolling in the surrounding villages & towns (Arrifana, Aljezur, Lagos)

- Swimming & relaxing on the beach or in the hammock


Here are some activities that you can also book for a fee:

- 1:1 sessions with Nadine/Carina (individual yoga session, body work)

- Surf lessons (with certified instructors equipment, all levels)

- with the SUP along the rock formations (with certified instructors equipment)

- Bike tour (rental in the area)

- Massage (bookable on site)

getting there

Airport:

- Faro Airport (the nearest airport): 110 km, approximately 1 hour by car to Soulfarm

- Lisbon Airport: 250 km, approx. 3 hours by car to Soulfarm

We will create a WhatsApp group so that you can talk to other participants about getting there via rental car, shuttle, train, taxi/Uber.

Rooms & prices

The rooms are located in the Soulfarm farmhouse, which is all to ourselves for the week of the retreat. If required (full occupancy) there can also be accommodation in the stylish glamping tent, but this would be discussed before booking. In the house and on the camping site you have a shared kitchen, living room and sanitary facilities.

A deposit of €400 is required upon booking to reserve the space. Remaining payment no later than 30 days before the start of the retreat.

If the retreat cannot take place, the full amount will be refunded to you.
